The School of Education and Leadership (SEL), University of Ghana, announces that the first semester for the 2017 cohort of the MA Education and MA Educational Leadership and Management sandwich programmes is scheduled to take place as follows:

Orientation

Students are reminded of the orientation programme scheduled for Friday, April 21, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at the R. S. Amegashie Auditorium, University of Ghana Business School (UGBS, Main Campus).

Lectures

• Lectures will begin on Monday, April 24, 2017 and adjourn on Friday, May 5, 2017 (after close of day).
• Students will reconvene from July 17, 2017 to August 25, 2017 to continue the semester and to write their end of semester examinations.

Online Registration

• Students are advised to pay the first instalment of their fees (not less than GH¢4,268.00) before they will be enabled to register online.
• 48 hours after the payment is made, students can proceed to register online.
• Use your student ID number and PIN (provided in your admission letter) to log on the MIS Web for registration.
• Please follow instructions carefully to register for all core courses and select your preferred elective courses.

Please note that the University online service was temporarily interrupted so those who had or still have difficulties registering online could contact the following offices for assistance: University of Ghana Computing Systems ([UGCS] close to the Balme Library and UGBS) or the College of Education Academic Office (situated at the School of Continuing and Distance Education along the road to SEL, Radio Univers and the Jones Quartey Building – JQB).

Venues for Lectures

Lectures will be held at the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) Graduate Block (off the University of Professional Studies, Accra – UPSA Road). Please take note of the following segregation:

VENUE FOR MA EDUCATION STUDENTS

• Students undertaking the MA Education sandwich programme will take lectures at Lecture Hall 4E1.

VENUES FOR MA EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT (ELM) STUDENTS

The MA ELM students are divided into two groups:

• Group A consists of all students whose surnames begin with Letters A – F.
• Group B consists of all students whose surnames begin from Letters G – Z.

Please note that Group A is scheduled for Lecture Hall 2E1 and Group B, for

Lecture Hall 2W1.

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT ALL THESE LECTURE HALLS ARE LOCATED AT THE UGBS GRADUATE BLOCK MENTIONED ABOVE.
