The University of Ghana School of Education and Leadership is a research-intensive School focused on improving teaching and learning for students at all stages of their professional careers. Founded in 2015 as part of the University of Ghana's transition to a collegiate system, The School of Education and Leadership under the College of Education, University of Ghana, is dedicated to excellence in education and leadership development. The School aims to:

• Engage students in cutting edge research in teaching and to tackle broader issues in education. 
• Build capacity and develop skills in educational studies and leadership, as well as sports management for the modern world.
• Expose students to the best practices in teaching and learning using modern technologies.
• Achieve excellence in education and leadership development.

The School of Education and Leadership has three departments as follows:
